Ihya al Islam - Adhkar in Prayer Postures

Date: 2nd Jumada al Awwal 1442

In the name of God The Infinitely-Good The Merciful, all praise to God, The Lord of all creation. Oh God grant blessing and peace to our master Muhammad and his family and his companions and the righteous and those who come after.

Bowing

My Lord Most Great is Exalted above all limitation

Oh God, to You I bow in You I believe to You I submit. My hearing, sight, mind, bones, nerves, and all that my feet bear up are humble before You.

Stand after Bowing

Allah hears who praise Him

Our Lord, all praise is Yours, heavensful, earthful, and whatever-else-You-will-full

Oh You Who deserve praise and glory, the truest thing a slave can say is "none can withhold what You bestow, none can bestow what You withhold, and the fortune of the fortunate avails nothing against You"

Prostrating

My Lord Most High is Exalted above all limitation

Oh God, I prostrate myself to You, believe in You, and surrender to You. My face prostrates to Him Who created it and gave it form, Who opened its hearing and vision by His power and strength. God is exhaled in perfection, the Best of Creators

Sitting

Oh God, forgive me, have mercy on me, pardon me, set me right, guide me, and sustain me

Anything I said here which is true, is from Allah. Anything I said here which is false if from myself. I ask forgiveness for my shortcomings. I seek refuge in Allah from knowledge which does not benefit. May Allah grant us understanding of things as they are. May Allah bless and grant peace to our master Muhammad and his family.
